Mitsubishi Outlander Continues for 2013
S-AWC Standard on Outlander XLS
Mississauga, ON (October 10, 2012) – Available in both four- and six-cylinder models, the popular Mitsubishi Outlander sport utility vehicle continues for 2013 with available seven-passenger seating and Super All-Wheel Control plus a new exterior colour, Titanium Grey.
The Outlander ES 2WD seats five and features a standard 2.4-litre, 168-horsepower four-cylinder engine mated to the Sportronic Continuously Variable Transmission. The Outlander ES 4WD receives All-Wheel Control featuring 2WD/4WD Auto/4WD Lock drive-mode selector.
The seven-passenger Outlander LS 4WD features the 3.0-litre, 230-horsepower V-6 engine – capable of towing up to 3,500 lbs (1,588 kg). At the top of the line, the Outlander XLS S-AWC features Super All-Wheel Control – Mitsubishi’s advanced traction technology. S-AWC utilizes an Active Front Differential that splits torque either left or right, providing power to the wheels with the most traction for superior cornering, improved stability and enhanced road-holding performance.
Standard equipment on all Outlanders includes:
- Air conditioning and heated front seats
- ABS with Electronic Brake-Force Distribution, Active Stability Control
- Six airbags – dual front, dual front seat-mounted side-impact plus front and rear side-impact curtain

The MSRP on the 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander ES 2WD model is $25,998, and $27,998 on the 4WD model. Six-cylinder LS and XLS models have starting MSRPs of $30,498 and $35,198, respectively.
