Outlander Leads Mitsubishi Motors October Sales
Mississauga, ON, Nov. 1, 2017 – Led by the Mitsubishi Outlander compact sport utility, Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada recorded 2,000 sales last month, a 10.3 per cent increase over October 2016, and the seventh consecutive month the company has surpassed 2,000 monthly sales.
Mitsubishi Motors’ October sales performance put its total year-to-date deliveries up by 2.9 per cent. Led by 801 Mitsubishi Outlander sales, other October highlights included Mitsubishi RVR compact SUV at 592 units, the Mitsubishi Lancer family of sedans at 401 sales and Mitsubishi Mirage hatchback and G4 sedan subcompact models at 205 deliveries.
“Strong consumer acceptance of our Outlander and RVR models continues unabated,” said Kathryn Soubliere, senior manager, Sales. “We’re poised for additional growth and expansion in the weeks and months ahead with the December arrival of our all-new 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and, in the new year, the all-new 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross compact SUV hits our shores,” she added.
The top performing dealerships in October were Rallye Mitsubishi (Gatineau), Ste. Foy Mitsubishi, Red Deer Mitsubishi, Capital Mitsubishi (St. John’s) and Saguenay Mitsubishi.
